Mark and Mathias, the two guys behind a.dub, come from very different musical backgrounds: Mark started out in the early 00’s producing trance music (although very very bad trance music), and Mathias was an incarnated hip-hop fanatic. They met in high school, and here they discovered a mutual love of House music. This led to late-night sessions skimming the web for weird, awesome records, until the guys decided to have a go at making the music themselves. None of them had ever tried producing house before: actually Mathias had never made music in his life!
This led them through several genres - from the cheesiest disco house, to the weirdest, most underground techno, before they found their own sound; techy, progressive house.
In the beginning, M&M operated under the alias Le Mode, where they also had a couple of releases on various digital labels. One day they both agreed that they wanted to try something new, something a little bit more evil and fresh - and thus, a.dub was born…..
Mark Schneider is another alias for the duo where they produce the early morning vibes that we all so desperately need…
